While shovel testing a site for a ca 1833 log cabin yesterday we
recovered two handle sections of tableware
One is pewter with a reinforcement wire set into the center section.
Only partial letters are visible
(ARXEK) ?...the second is copper flat sheet stamped with a series of
very hard to read hallmarks
The first appears to be a flower pedal design with five pedals. the
second appears to be what resembles a small gear..the 3rd appears to be
the letter T and the fourth appears to be the letter X.
Any information on possible country of origin .Mfg. date or sources on
where to look are appreciated
Thanks in Advance
Best regards,
Kris Oswald
