I know named Suffolk: the counties of: Boston, MA; one on the James
River in Virginia; and the old "East Riding,"  the county of the east
"half" of Long Island, NY. The songs "Carry Me Back to Old Virginny"
and "Home Sweet Home" were written there, in NY.
