TECHNICAL ARCHAEOLOGIST required - 3 month temporary position till end of June, with likelihood of continued position after this date. The successful applicant must be prepared to participate in fieldwork in remote areas.

Duties, in order of priority, are:

·                    To assist the Directors with project-related tasks, including:

·                    Background research

·                    Illustration and photography 

·                    Fieldwork

·                    Report production

·                    Administration duties

·                    Conduct monitoring of construction works in archaeologically sensitive areas

·                    Assist other staff with project-related work.

Essential
·                    BA (Hons) in Archaeology

·                    Current drivers licence (pref. manual)

Highly desirable

·                    Experience in Adobe Illustrator
·                    Experience in fieldwork and artefact processing

All other expertise (eg common computer applications) will be assumed.

Expressions of Interest are required by COB Wednesday 2nd March 2005, with interviews at the weeks end.
