Dear All,

I was asked to post this online. The National Academy of Sciences is
launching a study of informal learning and they hope to hire a
post-doc for 6 months or so to help spearhead the process.

If you know of any potential candidates, please direct them to Jean
Moon at the Academies; her contact info is below.

Thanks,

Bronwyn Bevan, Director
Center for Informal Learning and Schools

The NRC study on learning science within informal environments is now
in the stage of staffing. I am hoping to hire a post-doc to help
guide the conceptual development of this study and am looking for an
"exceptional" someone who is nearing the end of their doctoral
studies in a related field, who is knowledgeable about the diverse
literatures in research and evaluation informing learning science in
informal environments, and who would like to re-locate to the DC area
for six months to a year to participate in the initial phase of this
study.

Suggestions with email addresses welcomed, if you have a CV to
accompany your suggestion - all the better. Of course, we are hoping
to fill this position as soon as possible. I think it will be a
great opportunity for the right person.

Again, thank you.

jean
