ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Also: there is a difference between fundraising consultants and grant
writers. Fundraising consultants should be able not only to write grants, but also
to help you create a strategic plan, research prospective donors (including
individuals), approach prospective funders, AND put together the process and
materials to raise $. If you need a full-scale fundraiser, you really need a
consultant with supporting staff/resources. On the other hand, if you've
already done the groundwork and just need materials put together, a grant
writer is a cheaper, more focused option!

Hi Chad, Part time fundraisers do exist and can be very helpful. There are
also organizations that do fundraising for others. IF you ask someone in one
of the other museums or colleges they will be able to help you find a list,
Good Luck, Paddy Wade, MITS
