Med. Arch. and History has long been an interest of mine, and I have
several of his enjoyable books.  His old TV show on the Vikings was also
delightful. Thank goodness they weren't loaded with indecipherable theory
and other fashionable academic mumbo jumbo.

Sadly, the Viking era has finally come to an end.  I hope he had a Viking's
funeral!

Oh, well,  off to Williamsburg for a few bowls of Peanut Soup at the King's
Arms!
