1) Who Are You?
Bob Muckle. Had my own CRM company for a while, but got no job
satisfaction (clients never got excited when I found anything
significant); Worked for a few years exclusively for Indigenous
organizations with a lot of job satisfaction, but got tired of being
away from home most of the time; Found a home in a community college in
western Canada which allows me to the opportunity to direct historic
archaeology field schools in the summer.
2) Dirtiest Moment in the Field?
Most of my work has been on the west coast of Canada and Alaska. We
don't get so much dirty as wet. Dirt just washes off in the rain.
3) Idea of a Well-Dressed Archeologist?
Water-proof boots, the best rain-gear money can buy, and a hat to keep
the rain out of the eyes. Oh yeah,...a belt to attach the holster for
bear spray.
