Sorry Nancy, can't help ya any with your button...but since the topic is
buttons...and I've not been able to find a scrap of info online...does
anyone here know about a 1/2 dia., 4-hole metal buttons...with the
marking * M. ROCK * / NEW YORK around the periphery?? It's probably
from overalls or trousers. ??

Also have a flat, 4-hole button (unwashed so far; was just looking thru
the bags of stuff coming in to the Lab; so don't know the material)
marked
 * DEPOSE * / PARIS
All I could sleuthe out online is that apparently 'depose' means "made
in"...
(I don't speak/read French).

Thanks for any help.
