"Wooster Collective founders, Marc and Sara Schiller, will lead a
special guided tour of street art and graffiti through downtown
Manhattan."
Modern event occurring tomorrow September 18, 2005
I photographed an abandoned number of handball courts in the Bronx, NY
that had been part of a large swim club, turned into apartments now.
There were large concrete walls, like 12 of them or so each had a huge
work of colorful art on them. I wonder now however, if they were ever
included in the report to the NYC LAndmarks Preservation Commission.
Nearby to it in the Bronx, NY is "Castle Hill" the reported "native
settlement" explorer Adrian Block reported seeing from the Long Island
Sound. Block Island is named after him between Montauk Point's George
Washington authorized lighthouse (ferries to it once left from
Montauk) and Martha's Vineyard now thought to have been discovered by
"unsung founder" by Bartholomew Gosnard, whose ancestors they've taken
a DNA sample from in Suffolk, England to compare at Jamestown, VA:
