NEW MASTERS GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP FOR 2005-06
The University of West Florida in Pensacola has just provided the Department
of Anthropology with a new Masters graduate assistantship to recruit a high
quality Masters student.
It is a $14,600 Masters assistantship package for the 2005-06 academic year
which covers out-of-state tuition up to $9000 (9 graduate hours a semester)
plus a departmental assistantship of $2800 per semester.
We are soliciting applicants for this Masters assistantship from May 1 - May
30, 2005. Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor's degree, 3.0 GPA, and 1000
on the GRE. Please see our website
http://uwf.edu/anthropology/programs/masters.cfm for more details about the
program. We have a very strong archaeology program in both historic and
prehistoric as well as maritime (shipwreck) and terrestrial archaeology.
If you know of an outstanding potential graduate student, please pass on
this notification and have them contact me.
