I am thinking about submitting a proposal for a session on
effectiveness of object theater presentations for next year's AAM
(Chicago in May). We have an NSF-funded exhibit here at the Lab of
Ornithology that has proved effective in helping people understand
the importance and significance of citizen science, and our
evaluator, Beverly Serrell, has suggested that we explore what other
object theater evaluations might be available, and whether the people
who have conducted them might be interested in comparing notes. I
look forward to hearing from folks with ideas on this subject.
