"The New York State Public Service Commission Friday announced that
Governor Eliot Spitzer has proclaimed April 9 through April 13, 2007,
to be "Dig Safely Week" in New York State as a way to remind
excavators, contractors and homeowners that state law requires them to
call one of the state's toll-free one-call centers before starting any
excavation or digging project."
