Novelty for sure...i just excavated a Baltimore Loop iron bottle opener.
It needs conservation but I am sure it would work just fine flipping up
modern pull tabs as well...
If they are of glass ...i would love to see their production method

Don't really get the appeal of such a closure. I don't care if my soda
sounds like champagne when it opens (well, I don't drink soda, anyway).
Apparently folks in Taiwan think it's cool tho.
