Try the wonderfully preserved total community of salt extractors on Salt Cay 
in the Turks and Caicos Islands.   Beside salt pans and windmills, it has the 
houses of workers and managment perfectly preserved.   Some houses are still 
occupied.   It should be a World Heritage site, if it is not already.
