Well, in historical/classical or philological archaeology, maybe, but the
Brits tend to think of "prehistoric" archaeology as being the model
everything else is but a pale imitation of...
All that stuff about how uniformitarianism, the 3-age system & evolution
being the foundations upon which the discipline was built...?
