Hmm...those Tuff Tip Scoopy straws may not be plastic....since the box
my mom has (1965) does not have the Tuff Tip (TM) noted...leaving me to
think they didn't need this feature on plastic straws.  So, the
transition from reinforced paper straws...to plastic...was more like
from 1963-1965.  Cool.

Sure, other companies could have developed plastic straws
prior...but...dont most companies jump on the bandwagon within the same
yr (6 mon., or less, actually)...once some New product is marketed??
