Hi all -

?I have an olive oil bottle seal marked "Huile D'Olive / Bordeaux (in script) / Surfine Clarifee" The glass fabric is a dark aqua color. The seal was found in an 1830s to 1840s context. I've seen reference to these in later contexts (1860s to 1870s) but has anyone seen this mark in 1830s to 40s contexts? I've tried googling it, but can't seem to drill down beyond the many recipes employing olive oil and Bordeaux wines.

I can send an image if anyone is interested.

Thanks,

Carl Steen
