Hey, Ron --

That issue has a large neat color map that shows all the post WW I European
colonial claims in Africa.

One seldom finds the maps still with the NG issues they came in. I know
I'm guilty of that, as I separate the maps and file then them away.

There was also an issue from about that time of the Pacific Islands that
I'd like to get, too.

I looked on Ebay as Bob suggested - duh, I use Ebay to buy a lot of
material for my stamp collection but never thought of it for NGs - but none
of the issues shown there indicated the presence of the map like the
current NG covers do.

Not sure if the maps are on the CD, but they are probably too big to print
out, anyway.

Cherrio!

What is in the October 1922 edition of National Geographic? Isn't it funny
how no one throws out National Geographic magazines, yet none of us are old
enough to have one of those issues. Unless, Rick kept his copy?
