I loved an exhibit at the Science Museum in South Kensington, London,
England where they had a very ominous vertical tube rising out of the
floor with brightly coloured concentric circles on the floor around it
with very prominent signs in these circles that read: "Do Not Touch!"
There was an opening at the side of this that had light glowing from
within. Of course everyone touched it (like wet paint signs) and the
thing made funny but harmless noises.
Sometimes we take ourselves too seriously!

instrument, show that you ever experience in a science center

Dear all,
We are in the very early stages of development of a permanent exhibit
about the brain. I was wondering if anyone has done any front-end
evaluation looking at visitor knowledge and attitudes about any relevant
aspects of neuroscience (including sensory perception, cognition,
memory, emotion, technology, etc.). If so, would you be willing to
share your results?
Thanks in advance!
Jayatri
