E&S Spitz Fulldome Video Showcase - ASTC 2006

 

This year's Fulldome Video Showcase, sponsored by E&S Spitz, features a
sampling of the work of the world's best and most interesting digital
dome artists.  Presentations will be screened at the University of
Louisville's Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium, a five minute
bus ride from the Convention Center, from 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM on Sunday,
October 29.  You can pre-register for the event when you register for
ASTC, or you can sign up at the registration desk on site in the
Convention Center.  Transportation is provided, buses board at 3:45 PM
from the Convention Center.  

 

The Showcase will highlight a variety of innovative content being
created for this exciting new medium, including astronomical,
bio-medical, architectural and atmospheric data visualizations;
character-animated productions for kids; cutting-edge space science
shows; experimental and art projects; music entertainment and more.  We
invite you to explore with us as we pioneer new experiences for the dome
screen and new ways to captivate our audiences.

Spitz booth (#504) on the ASTC trade show floor, or with an ASTC
representative. Admission to the event is free to ASTC registrants on a
first-come, first-serve basis.
