Hi Paul and others reading this,

We have used real people's stories in many ways in our exhibit halls.
One of my favorites is displaying objects created by real people, and
then augmenting the educational content by allowing the contributors to
tell their own stories, through captioned videos or text labels with
audio. We have a display of models created by local teenagers, with
video and audio of the teens describing their works, in our permanent
exhibition, Making Models.

Also, whenever possible, we seek out objects that can be touched, so
that visitors can have a tactile experience of the object while reading
or hearing about the person's connection to the object.
