Not even between works?  I'm sorry, but we're not in church, and
even churches allow late seating.  I think the standard should be
that listeners not be interrupted in their listening.  I don't see
how seating someone between works violates that.

Let's not take music *that* seriously.  It's there to be enjoyed (or
not).
