I personally do not know any one affected by Katrina. Thank Heavens...Of
course my prayers are with those that are. I am so thankful though, that IF
anything remotely devastating as that happens where I live, I will have one
huge fear taken from me, knowing my toddler will be safe in her feeding. Just
one more reason I WON'T wean her until absolutely necessary. I was watching
tv, and saw all the babies crying and moms weeping, and it broke my heart
knowing that they were worrying how they were going to provide clean nourishment
to their babies. The other thing that frightened me was seeing all the
infants in carseats. I would want my baby attached to me. Not in something that
could potentiall wash away. My sling is my best friend. Vive the sling.
My prayers go out to all those who are suffering. The lactnetters from that
area, God Bless each of you. I would most definitely be interested in
donating to the IBCLC's and LLL Libraries. Please contact me off list as to how
to go about doing this.
