The POP (or mini-pill as it's referred to here) is a highly effective birh
control method. Many women use it when they have risks for the COC pill,
such as smoking, aged 40+, history of DVT or are diabetic. So surely women
taking it for birth control when breastfeeding still have the 98%
reliability that is quoted? That is, if they observe the 3-hr rule, watch if
they have vomiting or diarrhoea or use some antibiotics etc.
LAM is often used as well as the POP but POP on it's own is also effective.
