ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Here at the Ontario Science Centre, we provided two impromptu weekend seminars on the Science of the Tsunami. All four shows were packed with well over 400 visitors in attendance. We were stunned by the response because we had only sent out an email the Thursday before the first show to 1/2 of our membership and had signs throughout the centre promoting the seminars.

We also invited the Canadian Red Cross on site who raised money at each of our seminars and our Science School students worked as a team to raise funds as well.
