Robin -

First, ASTC has a publication, "Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers: Preservice
Partnerships between Science Museums and Colleges" that might help you. I've
used this before, and it's great. It was published in 1999.

Second, try contacting Ilka Porter at the Gulf Coast Exploreum in Mobile
([log in to unmask]) or Eddie Shaw at the University of South Alabama
([log in to unmask]). They've got a great preservice teaching partnership.

Of course, both of these resources are for preservice teachers - not sure if
that's what you're looking for, but if it is, I think both of these might
help.

Good luck!

Bill

Aloha,
We are looking into the relationships of Science Centers and
universities/colleges. If your science center has a partnership with a
college, whether it's providing an internship program, located on campus,
involving volunteers in any capicity, or something else, we would be
grateful to hear about it.

Thanks for your time.
Best wishes,
Robin
