We have the youth volunteers set up on shifts, and we have a volunteer lounge that they we meet them in before the start of every shift to go over their daily schedule. This mainly just happens o the weekend. The room is not very big....I am not sure of the dimensions-about half the size of classroom. Then in my office, we store all of their demos, so they can come in and check them in and out. Does that help?

I am talking about youth volunteer and intern programs, or maybe high
school partnership programs, things that involve middle and high school
students over an extended period of time.
