ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
The San Diego Aerospace Museum plans to offer a free-with-admission
audio tour to our visitors which would have both a "technical" and a
"personal" layer for each air or space craft in our collection. It
would be available in English and Spanish.
Any tricks of the trade, suggestions, or warnings would be appreciated.
In particular, some of my questions are:
How is the maintenance? Does it require any extra staffing?
Wand or headphones?
Does anyone have experience offering a downloadable version?
If your institution has had a general collection tour like this, how has
it aged? Do you add new parts, retire others?
Feel free to pass this request along to folks off this list. Thanks in
advance!
