The effect works wherever you stare. Put your arrow anywhere on the page
and stare at it.
I wonder if this sometimes has anything to do with the "green flash" as the
sun sets?
It would be great to make a similar demo that would allow the user to change
the color of the dots and also vary the brightness of the dots. What if we
had green dots? What if we had just one dot to look at? Maybe even have 2
moving circles that could be different colors. If any of you do it let me
know.

Ok, I'll bite...i think I understand the dots disappearing; kind of like
the cheshire cat exhibit - you're brain keys on the movement at the edge
of your peripheral vision....and I assume the green is the complimentary
of the pink, but????
