Colleagues,
We are seeking short articles about archaeology that will clearly drive 
home the point about the difference between archaeology (esp. context as 
the key to uncovering the story) and destructive collecting/looting.

These articles are being gathered for the needs of the SAA public web pages 
(www.saa.org/public).

If you know of a reading that serves this need, please forward the details 
either back to the list or to me directly (off list at 
[log in to unmask]).

Ideally, we hope to post examples of publicly accessible readings (i.e., 
less jargon laden).
