Sorry if this seems "spammy" to folks... This is maybe the easiest way to get
in touch with interested folks.
It was suggested to me to get together a historical archaeology volume for
the Alaska Journal. A certain individual who shall remain nameless suggested
that I organize such an effort.
I think maybe it could extend into Yukon, British Columbia, Nunavut,
Kamchatka? And include ethno-historical efforts, Gold Rush, Russian-American,
Underwater, World War II, Cold War, and so on.
Anybody willing to participate? Maybe organize a special session at the 2007
Alaska Anthro Association meeting in Fairbanks that correlates to the volume?
I have a list in my head. I'll start naming names if I have to!
