Getting treatments mixed up. OA is good down to freezing. I think the
50F may be thymol, formic and other treatments which rely on vapor. What
is being discussed here is OA drip application.
The key with OA is to treat when the colony is broodless or nearly so,
which means November here in Maine. The temperature is not the important
factor.
