ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

At a previous museum's 3D exhibition we contended with the same issue. We
opted for the plastic option. People were fairly respectful about returning
them, but by the end of the exhibit run, the numbers had significantly
dwindled.

They are fairly durable and easy to clean. We were a small operation, so we
assigned cleaning duties to the gallery guards. Of course, we only had 200
pairs. There are cleaners out there and perhaps it's not the best method,
but we just used rubbing alcohol.

As far as cost, they lasted a nearly a year (before disappearing) and were
far more economical for our attendance numbers than paper ones.

Best,
Karen
