Forgive a little local boosterism.
This coming Monday, on PBS (sorry non-USAns!) there will be a show called
'The Three American Tenors,' patterned, of course, on the Three Tenors,
the Three Irish tenors, and Three Mo' Tenors.
The reason I'm writing is that a young man (now 31) named Nathan Granner
is one of them, and he's an alumnus of the choir that I sing in. Indeed,
he began sitting in when he was still in middle school! He's now 31,
has sung at places like Opera Theater of St. Louis, Wolf Trap Opera,
and in the Met's young artist program.
Nice to see a local kid do well.:-)
