Hey! Wait a moment, I am not finished with you yet; I am sure you are a
little Solti basher too!!:-)

Haha, but who is saying that this cycle is good? I haven't heard it.
To me the most of this cycle isn't terribly bad, but I think the Symphony
"Kullervo" (op.7) is, and that is thanks to the singers Jorma Hynninen and
Monica Groop. Perhaps there are no better ugrophones avaliable. Monica
Groop made that CPO set of Allan Petterssons "Barefusslieder" too, and it
is no good either. Shish Kebab - Swisch Kebob!

You got a point there, still I would say I prefer this set to some others;
routine isn't always bad; I attended a live performance of the Sibelius 7
the other day in Stockholm, with that Mikko Frank conducting the Royal
Philarmonics....

Ach sooooo....I never found the Leaper 1&3 in the catalogue for 1999, is
it so new? - BTW, wasn't that the Ireland SO?
Which orchestra did Mister Leaper the older cycle?

Nonono, Mister Barker! Not until you have answered my question on Mister
Karajans Bruckner ;-)
