That'd be the NEC WT610, with an msrp of about $7k. Information on

I've always worked around throw distances either using mirrors or 
getting specialized lenses for projectors. The mirrors are always a 
pain to configure well and can suffer from vibrations in whatever 
they're attached to. You also need to worry about dust accumulation. 
And, specialized lenses always drive up the cost of the project and 
are usually only available on higher end projectors.

This projector, at $7k, is the lowest price point I've ever seen for 
a really short throw projector. And, wow, it's really short. 100" 
diagonal at 30". 40" diagonal at 3". wow.
