Do not miss the new complete recording of Berios 14 Sequenzas (no.  9
exists in 2 versions) by members of the Ensemble Intercontemp.  on DG.
Written from 1958 till 1995 this is a fine collection of solo pieces for
a large variety of instruments (flute, harp, voice, trombone, piano, viola,
oboe, violin, clarinet/saxophone, trumpet, guitar, bassoon and accordion).
The performances are outstanding and I think this is the first time they
are all grouped together!  Wonderful stuff, but not *easy*!
