Yes. Not sure what you mean by recent, so here are the Naxos I remember.
Both Enigmas are mediocre at best.
The Symphony 1 is good enough, but there are others that are better and not
much more expensive. Offhand, I can think of Loughran, and I am told Judd
is very good. There are a bunch of reissues that I would consider over
Hurst's Naxos (Previn, Menuhin, Boult, Barbirolli--in no special order).
The Symphony 2 with Downes is terrific. So is the new Falstaff with David
Lloyd-Jones. It may be one of the best.
The Piano Quintet and the String Quartet are very nice, a little dark, as I
said on another post.
Dream of Gerontius is terrible.
The Violin Concerto has gotten good reviews. Technically it is very flashy,
too much so for me, and I seem to remember Kang's sound to be a little
hard. Again, there are many reissues that I would get first.
