While I agree with the Lindsays being a fine quartet they never play
anything exactly the way I would like to hear it - this can hardly be
called criticism though, it's more a matter of *taste* and one exception
is their recording of the Brahms & Schumann piano quintets which I feel
is right up there with the best of them (well, almost really....)

I didn't hear the Goebel cantatas and while I can easily imagine that what
you're saying would be true, I'll try and listen to them soon. Thanks for
drawing my attention to them.
