By the way, did anyone mention a fellow named Alexander Tcherepnin? In the
1930s he travelled to China and married a Chinese pianist(?).  I remember
that his Piano Concerto No. 4 uses some Chinese tunes.  And some other
pieces that certainly have fallen into oblivion.
