This is my first posting on this list, although I've been following the
various threads with great interest for some time now. I almost put
forward an opinion once - not that it's relevant here, but I wanted to
concur with the person who recommended Nimbus' recording of Vaughan
Williams' 'Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis' (William Boughton
conductor). I am a relative newcomer to Classical Music, so it's rare
that I feel able to comment on the merits of particular recordings.

The reason for this posting is to make an enquiry on behalf of a friend.
He has been looking for some time for a book on instrumental arrangement
for Military Bands, without much success. His only recourse has been to
study existing scores. However, he has managed to track down the details
of the following book, but this, I believe, is not currently in print.
The book is:

"Arranging for Military Bands" by Adkins, published by Boosey & Hawkes (?)

Can anyone tell me where I might be able to get this book from, or recommend
any alternative books? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
