On October 12 I sent the message below and promised to collate the
responses and send them to the list.

I had several responses from people who were interested to assist and
also some from people who were keen to have the results. Sadly, I did
not have any responses which could direct me to any research findings.
We will carry on with our own research and try to disseminate our
findings.

Dear list,

I have a student researching the use of science experiment kits and
transportable interactive exhibits that are available for loan from a
science centre. We are having difficulty finding reports of how
successful these kits are, how teachers use them, and their effects on
science teaching and learning.
