ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

A number of years ago ASTC and the Franklin Institute
collaborated on a climate exhibition. Not sure where the "exhibition
memory" is now but as I recall there were visitor experiences that
probably could be adapted to the sort of short drop-in laboratory
activities you are looking for.

>Has anyone successfully performed a science experiment relating to climate
>change or global warming? For our upcoming exhibition on climate change we
>are going to have a demo lab and are looking for an activity that visitors
>can perform in a drop-in setting with a facilitator. Ideally the experiment
>should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete and uses safe,
>environmentally friendly materials. Most of the activities that we've found
>are more appropriate for a classroom setting or take more than thirty
>minutes to complete.
