ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
We are reviewing what we require of teachers who lead field
trips to the Hall of Science.
Do you have rules of behavior for teachers when they bring
students on field trips to your science center, eg numbers of
children each chaperone is personally responsible for, must they wear
identification as a chaperone/teacher, are they responsible for their
children at all times during the visit etc. etc?
How do you enforce the rules you've instituted?
How do you inform the teachers that actually bring the
children (as opposed to the teacher who makes the reservation? Is
there anything else you do that you think we'd be interested in
knowing about?
Is this printed and can you send me a copy?
Thanks.
