I agree.  But curiosity is out there.  I think most
newbys are very curious about swarms 'a quick way of
getting new colonies <at little or no cost>'.  I
propose the same as you George, read the qualified
texts.  But I also think we should assauge the
curiosity of the new beekeepers.  They want to know
what to expect, especially when they are in the
process of learning.
