I also should have read that page all the way to the bottom. In case you're
wondering if you should really call me, the page was actually made for some
people we had making patties on contract, so, no, you probably don't need to
:)
It is hard for someone who hasn't done it to imagine how many things can go
wrong in a big, expensive messy project like that, and how 'creative' people
can be -- or how many unique ways they can misunderstand simple
instructions, especially if you go away for a while. That's why we so much
appreciate being able to count on professionals who have been in the food
preparation business for decades, to make our patties for us.
Having said that, though, I should point out that my comments are aimed at
professional beekeepers with thousands of hives. For hobbyists and
sideliners, patty making can be fun, and accomplished in a few hours.
