These are serious activities - making notes, reading scores, studying.
The only notes I make concern the discs I'm going to buy.
Ed and I have talked before about his approach to classical music; he
really delves into its inner recesses. I did read scores in an earlier
stage of life. I always found it best to read the score through before
playing or listening to it; the score comes direct from the composer.
