Bert Bailey responds to my notice about the Schiff lectures:

I've heard a couple of the Kuerti's on the radio and I was very impressed.
I'd like to hear them. When I listen back-to-back-to-back to a series
of performances of certain Beethoven sonatas, I am awed by how different
they can be. It is an amazing statement about the composer (the depth
of his conceptions), the performers (valid interpretive choices) and
also the instrument itself.
