I'm sure many local music-lovers, myself included, are looking forward to
hear Yo-Yo Ma next weekend. The renowned American-Chinese cellist will be
in Singapore to play the Elgar concerto, and also premiere a new work by
Chen Yi.
Well, whether or not you're one of the lucky ones who managed to get a
ticket, I invite you all to tune in to Passion 99.5FM this Sunday, as I
will be playing a recording of his on your weekend Asian edition of Cosmic
Classics.
Tune in on SUNDAY (7 MARCH 99) at 4PM to listen to Yo-Yo Ma perform what is
generally recognised as THE cello concerto of cello concertos, Dvorak's B
minor Concerto, Op.104.
It's happening on Singapore's home of the arts, PASSION 99.5FM.
