One thing I DO remember as a young boy was a Casper the Friendly Ghost
cartoon, in which said character helps the ghost of Schubert to "finish"
his Symphony, using a number of household items as means to create (all
based= on the famous first movement theme) music for the final cadence.
Odd though, the Schubert in the cartoon seemed more like a caricature
of Beethoven, right down to the gruff Germanic accent, than the cherubic
image we have of him today.
